Welcome to Following Him. These terms explain the rules for using the followinghim.app website and web app (the “app”). We have tried to keep them short and in plain language. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

An independent product

Following Him is an independent, free, non-commercial product for family scripture study. It is not official content of, nor affiliated with or endorsed by, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For official Church teachings and materials, please go to the Church's own resources.

Accounts

• Accounts are for parents and other adults. Children use the app alongside a parent and should not create their own accounts.
• Please give us a real email address you can access, and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account may be shared within your own household. Please do not sell or give away access to people outside it.

The content

We work hard to make every lesson reverent, accurate, and centered on Jesus Christ, but the content is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it is free of mistakes, complete, or suited to every family, and it is not a substitute for the scriptures themselves, the words of living prophets, or your own study and personal revelation. Please use your own judgment as a parent about what is right for your children.

Lesson stories, illustrations, and audio narration are created with the help of AI and then reviewed by a person before they are published. You can read exactly how that works, and the safeguards we use, on our How we use AI page. If you spot something that seems wrong, please tell us through the feedback button or the support page.

You may view, print, and share the lessons, coloring pages, and activity books with your family, your Primary class, or friends for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not sell them, repost them as your own, or use them to build a competing product. Scripture text and quotations from Church leaders remain the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable use

When you use Following Him, please do not:

• break the law or use the app to harm anyone;
• try to get into accounts, data, or parts of the app that are not yours, or interfere with how the app runs;
• scrape, copy, or download content in bulk with automated tools, or overload the service;
• send feedback or other content that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app at any time and permanently delete your account from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the app or other families at risk. Because Following Him is a free project, we may also change, pause, or stop offering all or part of the app; if we plan to shut it down, we will try to give reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

Following Him is offered free of charge and without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To that same extent, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the app in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free app, is usually nothing). Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Following Him after a change, the updated terms apply.
